3DVIA Composer Player by Dassault Systèmes is a free, lightweight viewer for content created with 3DVIA/SOLIDWORKS Composer. It lets anyone open Composer files (such as .smg) and interact with 3D models, animations, and technical communications without needing the authoring software. Users can rotate, pan, and zoom; play step-by-step procedures; review exploded views; toggle visibility; and examine product structure and metadata. When enabled by the content author, the Player also supports sectioning, measurement, and Bill of Materials callouts, making it ideal for communicating assembly instructions, maintenance procedures, and product documentation.

Optimized for broad deployment, 3DVIA Composer Player preserves predefined views, camera paths, and interactivity while delivering a lightweight format for fast sharing across teams.
